Gut wrenching from the first line! Reading The Invisible Son left me with pangs of guilt at the thought of those worse off then me, but also gave me the kick up the ass to get on with the opportunities I have and the compassion I can give. Thank you, Tey! Keep shining the torch….

There are often times we think of key moments in our life and how that has changed the course of our future. In this powerfully written book, Tey shows how key moments can become lighthouses for action to change ourselves for the better and empower this in others. Few of us know what it is like to be without an effective identity and the heartbreak this can cause. From the heartbreak of invisibility from losing a birth certificate to the invisibility of becoming a refugee from a place of relative comfort in a country now called ‘home’. This is a book or hard truths that has come out at an important moment in our human history with a global pandemic affecting our world. We’ve all had now a taste of invisibility and being without agency, but of course many of use emerge from this with our identity intact. This is a story where this battle continues and is not temporary, but it also contains stories of hope that we can overcome the hardships that the world suffers. A story that shows that community and moving from the mess of life to a message of hope and change is one we can relate to and understand. I highly recommend this book both for a casual reader with a thirst for knowledge and also for businesses to help inspire their staff to greatness. This is only the beginning…

I just finished reading it (I’m a fast and eager reader, especially on rainy summer days) and I can honestly say GRAZIE. I especially loved how it’s funny and unfiltered, blindly honest. Also, you are not afraid to share with your reader tips, tricks, and lessons, as if you want everyone not only to understand, to learn, but to be part of the change you believe in and work for. The book is the perfect example of the power of storytelling you explain in it. – lastly, I really liked how you use others’ story/ fun facts/ lines/ quotes , and how they match the scope of what you are narrating (e.g. Darwin, Battuta, Lady Gaga and many many others).
Probably I’m not the first one telling you this, but I’m sure I will eventually see your story on Netflix or so.

I loved how Tey opens himself and his story up to the world in this book of both tremendous hardships and defined victory. His story teaches us that no matter what this world throws at us, with a getting-shit-done attitude, an unwavering passion, and a strong moral compass, it’s possible not only to prevail but to thrive. I’d love to say that I’ll put The Invisible Son front and center in my bookshelf, but who am I kidding, it’s going to be circulating in the hands of friends and colleagues for years to come.

A lovely, unpolished, true view into the workings of an invisible man who is very much out there to be seen, listened to and understood. You have an important story to tell. a fascinating journey and an honesty that is very endearing. Thanks for sharing
